Canada's identity strengthening
The good news for the hopeful amidst Canada's wrestling match with Mr. Trump is identity and patriotism are increasing. The unity amongst Canadians is an improvement. Both identity and patriotism was something that may have been previously dwindling.
The recent shake down with the U.S. may produce some benefits despite the imminent terror. Mr. Trump is helping Canadians appropriate their identity & pride as a nation. Today is Canada's special flag day a key day for "identity" and patriotism.

February 15th, marks Canada's 60th anniversary of the maple leaf becoming Canada's official flag.
Though "flag sales" may seem unimportant it is not. It is a metric and indicator that Canadian identity, unity & patriotism is solidifying. This builds strength amongst existential threats both nationally & internationally.
